Let's go play outside...
I would say getting outside and finding beauty in the worlds landscapes is where my interest in photography really began.
As a kid, my parents would take us on family hikes and I would bring my little point and shoot camera along for the ride. I would snap about a million shots of every little thing I found to be beautiful. A mountain range; a pretty stump; a colourful rock; raindrops collecting on leaves on the ground.
I took as many photos as I could, because I didn't trust my mind to remember every little detail. I wanted to make sure I had everything that inspired me in a picture- something I could hold onto and remember forever.
I still bring my camera along with me on every adventure, and I get so much joy out of finding places to experience and remember. in all of their natural glory.
So next time you're headed out for an adventure, and want somebody to help you document it - I would love to hear from you.
